Activities for Parents
Due to space limitations and safety concerns, only those students who have pre-registered for Student Programs may attend the programs at JMU on Saturday, December 5th.
Below is a list of downtown activities available to parents and to children not registered for events at JMU. Bus transportation to and from downtown will be provided

- Denton Pocket Park- small urban park with a waterfall, planters, and Ginko trees.
- The Hardesty-Higgens House- a historic home, museum, gift shop, tea room, and visitor center.
- The Harrisonburg Children’s Museum- interactive exhibits and workshops for kids.
